Personal Narratives Describing Verde Valley Land Use Issues

The Workshop

Dates: April 28 - 29, May 5 - 6

Times: 9 - 5

Location: Yavapai College, Verde Campus

Facilitator: Judie Piner

What Will Happen There?

Participants come to the workshop prepared with a story idea. It doesn't have to be written yet, we will help with developing your ideas. Use your images... from personal history, your photography. You might even make your own music.

We develop stories by sharing them in a safe atmosphere. We help you to tell the story YOU want.

You narrate your story.

We teach you to collect and scan images, size them and prepare them for video.

Lastly, we demonstrate video editing to compile your story and images together. Add music and a few special effects... you have a story that reveals your personal "expression of the land."

We premiere all the the stories made in the workshop for family and friends. Bring popcorn!
